In our presentation we will examine:
- The correlation between stock market index and macroeconomic variables. (You will also have to conduct tables in Excel in order to do
the correlations and comparison analysis between countries.)
- One of the scholar articles that we chose examines the relationship between Hungary’s stock market index and relevant economic variables like: GDP, inflation rate, the interest rate, etc. (link: http://oaji.net/articles/2014/1269-1410839209.pdf). Based on it we have to do a correlation analysis in economics, for Russia and the United States of America. We have to use at least one more scholar article that deals with the topic we chose and collect REAL DATA.
- The Real Data should be collected from such websites as https://fred.stlouisfed.org/ (credible sources basically)
- The power point should be about 12-15 slides with notes written for it separately. So that it is easy and understandable to present in front of the class.
- (IMPORTANT) Attached to this order, you will find papers for this specific assignment from previous years. They were greatly marked so follow the documents attached and try to make our work similar.
- The work obviously has to be done in English and by a mathematician since the subject of the class is: Mathematics 201 (Statistics)
