Wealth Inequality as Social Crisis and its Impact on Society

Over the past years, in most countries of the world, the gap between rich and poor has peaked. And today we see that the main reason of inequality and poverty of the population lies not in the plane of lack of resources, but in the mechanisms of their distribution and redistribution (equity in socie
ty). The goal of this paper is to understand whether wealth inequality and its distribution are affected by economic crises and determine impacts. In order to answer this question effectively, I analyze data from 6 different countries with differing development levels. (3 underdeveloped, 3 developed) This data analysis is crucial to understand my opinion, which is how different governments of different countries implement redistributive policies during the social crisis (for example, covid 19), which lead to increasing wealth inequality or to lower levels of wealth inequality.
