There are different rules that can help you to trade on a market, there are also people who say that you don’t need to follow any rule and you should act only according to your own intuition in real time. Some professionals like Dr. Elder, for example, argued that people with particular strategy and, who also follow it, have more chances to become successful traders, than the others1, but, what is more interesting, top traders usually combine following the strategy and following the intuition.
Entering the market
- when a price decreases (increases) and is near the support level (resistance level) we do
nothing, we’re just waiting for the moment when it’ll touch our support level (resistance level),
then we’re still waiting for entering the market – we’re waiting for “the moment of proving” when a price will go up again (go down) then we can buy (sell).
The next picture (page #8)we are on 21st December. Now we are at the moment when the price is decreasing, bears are very strong and the slowest MA is higher than the fastest – so, it’s downward trend. Now we can sell, the amount of the dealing depends, of course, on our deposit. As for beginners it’s better to sell may be from 0.01 to 0.1 of lot. The next step is creating an order of taking profit. According to this strategy, we should calculate the profitable price as the price at the support level plus 15% of range. So, it equals to 1.93808 (T/P).
