The world today is facing many challenges. In this research, we will focuse on such an important humanitarian issue as a landhunger. Namely – land hunger in China. At first glance, it may seem not that challenging as it portrayed because we used to imagine China as a highly developed and powerful state. And yet, land hunger entails a number of humanitarian concerns.
Purpose of the study: to find out what humanitarian problems runs from the problem of land hunger.
Objectives of the study: to explore the statistics of the socio-economic constituent of life of the modern Chinese. To track its connection with the problem of land hunger.
In this research progressively considered the problems, aroused from the problem of land hunger.
1. Overpoplation.
Overpopulation is an undesirable condition where the number of existing human population exceeds the carrying capacity of Earth
2. Death penalty.
Plenty of researchers believe that this problem obviously results from overpopulation problem. Over the last few years, more than 10,000 corrupt officials, drug dealers, smugglers, brothel keepers have been executed in China. Criminals are executed right in front of the crowd.
3. Active assimilation and “land grab”.
The Chinese believe that many social and economic problems could be resolved if China returns her lands: Taiwan, Senkaku archipelago, and Arunachal Pradesh. As for Russia, our country has already transferred to the PRC (People’s Republic of China) 337 km² of its territory (including the disputed Damansky Island). Also, Kazakhstan gave 407 km ², and Tajikistan - 1158 km ². All under the auspices of the border "demarcation" program! Even from Kyrgyzstan the Chinese dragged 12 km² of land.
4. But with industrial growth, the problems of pollution and water shortages appear.
The industrial sector of China consumes about 70 percent of the country's energy resources. One of the prime problems of the Chinese government is the growth of water consumption in cities and industrial enterprises
