Intercultural connections have a long history, as the first ones took place centuries ago. However nowadays intercultural communication has gained more importance because of the globalization. The cooperation between the countries is one of the main pillars of the modern world. Successful cooperation with other cultures means hard work because there are numerous factors that hobble the communication, which can lead to intercultural misunderstandings and conflicts. This paper centers around these factors and is aimed at describing the most significant ones.
