I am a second year student of Omsk State Technical University which has got seven faculties and seven institutes. I entered the Energy Institute, as I got interested in electrical engineering at school. But you can choose any other faculty or institute if your interests are in the other field of science or technology.
The Energy institute trains specialists for different branches of industry and research laboratories. The main majors of the institute are: electrical power engineering and electric power supply; heat and power engineering; electronics and microelectronics; information measurement systems etc. My future major is "Power supply of industrial enterprises".
