In Japan, there is no official restriction on working hours.
The Ministry of Labour distinguishes between two types of carcasses: death from cardiovascular disease due to excessive workload and "suicide" caused by mental and mental stress through work.
In Japan, workers are increasingly dying from overtime. The phenomenon is called “Karoshi” and was previously only associated with the death of men, but now it is increasingly affecting young workers and women.
