I Warm up
1. What types of memory do you know? I know short-term memory and long-term memory. Short-term memory only lasts 20 to 30 seconds. Our long-term memories are a bit more complex than our short-term memories.
2. What types of memory does your computer have? Computer memory is of two basic type – Primary memory (RAM and ROM) and Secondary memory(hard drive, CD, etc.). Random Access Memory (RAM) is primary-volatile memory and Read Only Memory (ROM) is primary-non-volatile memory. It is also called as read write memory or the main memory or the primary memory.
