It is possible that interest in the scriptures of Jews associated with direct visits to Israel. In Israel (mainly due to the "Taglita") visited by many young Jews. At the same time Israeli culture interested in 15 respondents are interested in part 2 pers., Ie, Israeli culture is interested in almost everything, but in varying degrees. In particular, not all interested in Judaism - the traditional religion of Israel (he gladly study 13 people, do not study -. 4 pers.). Attitude to study Judaism in some way affects the visit to the synagogue.
In the questionnaire, respondents were asked to answer the open question: what gives you the "Hillel"? The answers were varied, but were leading two options: chat and study their roots. Many respondents did not write just "chat" and "fellowship with the Jewish youth."
Thus, young people visiting "Hillel" attaches special importance to maintaining a culture of its people, through communication with people of the same nationality, religion, culture. And the "Hillel", in our view, the recovery of cultural continuity between generations, provides a gradual entry of young people in the religious community.
The results of sociological studies show, and some of the difficulties of working with youth. In the "Hillel" young people come from different families, they are of different ages and education (school - university) and, therefore, different interests. Therefore, they need to find a common language with each other. Another problem - the representation of small and low activity in the "Hillel" males - the future head of the family. It should also be noted that despite the demonstrated virtually all participants interest in the culture of the people, respect for religious traditions comes to young people's lives gradually, through the introduction to the culture of his people. In our opinion, this is due to a complex, ambiguous youth attitude towards religion.
Young people, for many reasons it is difficult to comply with all the requirements of Judaism (the combination of work and study, preparation for the entering, etc.). But organizations such as the "Hillel" substantially support and enhance the interest of young people to the history and culture of the people, bring in young people respect for ancestors.
